Living
Built as a mansion house in the Victorian era, Auchterarder House was designed with entertaining in mind and is an ideal venue for that special occasion or a relaxed holiday with family and friends. The beautiful marble entrance hall leads you through to the elegant drawing room and a library with wonderful views over the surrounding hills. The dining room seats 20 comfortably and all these rooms have open fires and large windows giving plenty of light. This is the epitome of luxury accommodation in Scotland.
The cinema room is a big, family friendly room with a giant screen and large comfortable chairs for watching a favourite movie. Ideal for either a family film or children taking some time out. The conservatory and snooker room both offer extra entertaining space or areas for smaller groups to break away to and enjoy either snooker after dinner or to relax in the warmth of the conservatory during a sunny day.
The gym and sauna are very much part of the house and offer easy access for guests wishing to stay fit and work off chef’s culinary delights during their stay.
For those guests taking part in country pursuits, there is a very good sized shoot room/boot room.

Dining
We have wonderful local chefs who we can recommend, guests can be assured of high quality, seasonal food cooked to perfection. All menus are arranged in advance with the host, and any dietary requirements taken fully into account.
There are options for both informal and formal dining at Auchterarder House. The kitchen is a large room with a cosy family feel to it. For smaller house parties it is possible for breakfast to be taken in the kitchen with double doors leading out to the garden, where there is a barbecue area. For larger house parties the dining room is an ideal space to accommodate everyone and although grand is also cosy and warm with an open fire.
Sleeping
Auchterarder House offers some of the very best luxury accommodation to rent in Scotland. Our 10 individually designed double ensuite bedrooms can sleep 20 guests. One of these bedrooms is on the ground floor with a fully accessible bathroom.
All our rooms are full of their own character and are extremely comfortable. In addition, four of our rooms have a sofa bed, which would be suitable for children. The bathrooms all have a bath and a shower.
